Clear Shipping Terms for International JalTool Orders
JalTool products are currently prepared and dispatched from Vietnam. Confirmed product prices include the agreed standard shipping cost, while destination-country customs duties, import taxes, VAT and clearance charges are normally the buyer’s responsibility.
- ✓ Current dispatch from Vietnam
- ✓ Standard shipping included in the confirmed price
- ✓ Tracking provided when available
- ✓ Import charges normally paid by the buyer
Prepared and Dispatched from Vietnam
A different origin applies only when an overseas warehouse or fulfillment location is confirmed in writing for the order.
Understand the Delivery and Import Responsibilities
Buyers should review these points before paying for an international JalTool order.
Shipping from Vietnam
Unless another fulfillment location is confirmed in writing, all current JalTool orders are dispatched from Vietnam.
Standard Shipping Included
The confirmed purchase price includes the agreed standard delivery charge to the address approved before payment.
Import Costs Paid by Buyer
Customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage and clearance fees are normally payable by the buyer or recipient.
Delivery Times Are Estimates
Carrier and customs delays can occur. Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed unless JalTool expressly agrees in writing.
Scope of This Shipping Policy
This Shipping Policy applies to physical JalTool products purchased directly through jaltool.com or through an order confirmed by the official JalTool team.
It should be read together with the applicable quotation, invoice, order confirmation, Terms and Conditions and Refund and Returns Policy .
Orders purchased through an independent reseller, marketplace or distributor may be governed by that seller’s shipping policy.
Current Shipping Origin
JalTool products are currently prepared and dispatched from Vietnam.
Unless a quotation or order confirmation expressly identifies another fulfillment location, the buyer should understand that the order will be exported from Vietnam.
JalTool may establish, operate or cooperate with overseas warehouses and regional fulfillment providers in the future. The existence of a potential warehouse does not guarantee that a particular product or order will be shipped from that warehouse.
Order Verification and Processing
Order processing begins after JalTool has received or verified payment and confirmed the information reasonably required to prepare the shipment.
Processing may include:
- Payment and fraud-risk verification
- Package and accessory confirmation
- Product testing or preparation
- Laptop preparation, where applicable
- Recipient and address verification
- Carrier and route selection
- Preparation of shipping and customs documentation
Processing time may vary by package, stock availability, order volume, payment method and destination. The current estimate will be displayed on the website or confirmed by the official JalTool team.
Weekends, Vietnamese public holidays, destination-country public holidays and carrier closures may affect processing.
Shipping-Inclusive Product Prices
Unless stated otherwise in the quotation or order confirmation, the final JalTool product price includes the agreed standard transportation cost to the delivery address disclosed and approved before payment.
Shipping-inclusive pricing is calculated using the destination, postal code, recipient details and delivery conditions provided before payment.
Additional costs may become payable by the buyer when they result from:
- An address change after order confirmation
- An incorrect or incomplete address
- A location later classified as remote or restricted
- Special delivery, appointment or handling requirements
- Repeated delivery attempts
- Buyer-requested carrier or service upgrades
- Failure to collect or clear the shipment
If an unexpected carrier surcharge is identified before dispatch, JalTool may request payment of that additional cost or offer cancellation of the unshipped order.
Customs Duties, Import Taxes, VAT and Clearance Fees
Unless JalTool expressly agrees otherwise in writing, all customs duties, import duties, import taxes, VAT, sales taxes, customs-clearance fees, brokerage fees, inspection charges, storage charges and destination-country fees are the responsibility of the buyer or recipient.
Shipping being included in the product price does not mean that destination-country taxes or customs charges are included.
Where applicable, the buyer or recipient acts as the importer and is responsible for:
- Checking whether the product may lawfully be imported
- Providing required tax, identity or business information
- Obtaining necessary import permits or registrations
- Paying customs duties, VAT and clearance charges
- Responding to customs and carrier requests
- Completing import clearance within the required period
Seller-paid import charges
JalTool will be responsible for destination import charges only when the official JalTool team has expressly agreed in writing before payment that specified taxes or customs costs are included.
A general statement that “shipping is included” does not amount to an agreement that customs duties, import taxes or VAT are included.
Customs values and declarations
JalTool will use commercially and legally appropriate customs documentation. The buyer must not request JalTool to:
- Declare a false or artificially reduced value
- Describe a commercial purchase as a gift
- Use an inaccurate product description
- Conceal the true buyer, recipient or transaction
- Take another action that may violate customs law
Delivery Address and Recipient Information
The buyer must provide complete and accurate information, including:
- Recipient’s full name or registered business name
- Street address and building information
- City, state or province and postal code
- Destination country
- Working telephone number
- Active email address
- Tax or importer information when required
JalTool may contact the buyer to verify an unusual, incomplete, high-risk or inconsistent address.
For card or PayPal transactions, JalTool may require the order to be shipped to an address approved in the payment transaction or otherwise verified by the payment provider.
Address changes
An address-change request is not effective until JalTool confirms it in writing.
After a parcel has been prepared or transferred to the carrier, an address change may be impossible or may create additional carrier, redirection, customs or storage charges. Such charges are payable by the buyer where caused by the requested change.
Carrier, Shipping Service and Route Selection
Unless a particular service is agreed in writing, JalTool may select the carrier, shipping service, route, consolidation method and logistics provider considered suitable for the order.
Selection may take into account:
- Destination country and postal code
- Package weight, value and dimensions
- Carrier availability and restrictions
- Tracking and signature options
- Customs-processing requirements
- Security and reliability
- Reasonable delivery cost
JalTool may use more than one carrier or logistics provider during international transit.
A buyer requesting a specific premium carrier, faster service or special handling may be required to pay the additional cost.
Dispatch and Delivery Estimates
Any dispatch or delivery time shown on the website or provided by JalTool is an estimate based on the information available at that time.
Unless JalTool expressly guarantees a particular date in writing, estimated delivery times are not fixed contractual deadlines.
Delivery estimates normally begin from the date of dispatch, not the date on which the buyer first requested a quotation or submitted payment.
Estimated times can be affected by:
- Payment verification
- Product preparation
- Carrier collection schedules
- Customs inspection and clearance
- Destination-country holidays
- Weather and transportation disruption
- Remote-area delivery conditions
- Recipient availability
If JalTool becomes aware of a material delay before dispatch, JalTool may provide an updated estimate and, where required by applicable law, appropriate delay or cancellation options.
Tracking Information
Where tracking is available, JalTool will provide the applicable tracking number or shipment reference after the package has been dispatched.
Tracking may take time to become active after the shipping label is created or the package is handed to the first carrier.
International tracking may not show every internal transfer, customs event or local-carrier scan.
The buyer is responsible for monitoring tracking and responding promptly to delivery, customs or carrier notices.
When Delivery Is Considered Completed
Subject to mandatory law, delivery is considered completed when the carrier records the parcel as delivered to:
- The confirmed delivery address
- The named recipient
- An employee, household member or person available at the address
- A reception desk, mailroom or building manager
- An agreed pickup point, locker or carrier facility
- A safe place authorized by the recipient or permitted by local delivery practice
The buyer should select a secure address at which the parcel can be received safely.
Where tracking confirms delivery to the approved address, JalTool may require the buyer to cooperate with the carrier, building manager, household members and local authorities before considering a claim that the parcel was not received.
Loss or theft after delivery
To the extent permitted by law, JalTool is not responsible for loss, theft, misplacement or unauthorized removal occurring after the carrier has completed delivery to the approved address or authorized collection location.
Failed Delivery, Refusal and Unclaimed Parcels
A delivery may fail when:
- The address is inaccurate or incomplete
- The recipient is unavailable
- The recipient refuses the parcel
- The buyer does not pay import charges
- The buyer does not provide customs information
- The parcel is not collected from a pickup location
- The carrier cannot contact the recipient
If the failure results from the buyer’s or recipient’s action or omission, the buyer is responsible for resulting costs, including:
- Repeated delivery fees
- Address-correction or redirection fees
- Storage and warehouse fees
- Customs and brokerage charges
- Return-to-sender shipping
- New outbound shipping if reshipment is requested
JalTool is not required to reship the parcel until the additional costs have been paid and the address and import requirements have been confirmed.
Customs Inspection, Holds and Clearance Delays
International shipments may be inspected, held, delayed or reassessed by customs authorities.
Customs authorities and local carriers operate independently from JalTool. JalTool cannot control:
- Whether a parcel is inspected
- The value or classification accepted by customs
- The amount of duties, tax or VAT assessed
- The time required for clearance
- Requests for recipient or importer documentation
- Government decisions to release, return or seize goods
JalTool may provide reasonable commercial invoices and shipping documents, but the buyer must cooperate directly with the carrier or customs authority when required.
A customs delay alone does not mean that the shipment is lost and does not automatically create a right to cancel an order already dispatched.
Delayed or Potentially Lost Shipments
A parcel is not considered lost solely because tracking has not updated for several days or because an estimated delivery date has passed.
If a shipment appears materially delayed, the buyer should contact JalTool with the order reference and tracking number.
JalTool may:
- Review the tracking history;
- Ask the buyer to confirm the address and contact details;
- Open an investigation with the carrier;
- Request declarations or supporting documents; and
- Wait for the carrier’s final investigation result.
No duplicate shipment or refund is required while an active carrier investigation is reasonably continuing, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
If the carrier formally confirms that a parcel was lost before delivery, JalTool may provide a replacement shipment, equivalent product or refund, taking into account stock, insurance, investigation results and applicable law.
Shipping Damage, Tampering and Missing Contents
The buyer should inspect the outer parcel before or immediately after accepting delivery.
Visible damage or tampering should be noted with the carrier where possible and reported to JalTool promptly, preferably within 48 hours after delivery.
A shortage or missing-content claim should be reported as soon as possible after opening the package.
The buyer should retain:
- The complete outer shipping package
- Shipping labels and customs labels
- Internal protective material
- All products and accessories received
The claim should include:
- Order reference and tracking number
- Photographs of every side of the parcel
- Photographs of shipping labels
- Photographs or video of the damaged product
- A list of missing contents
- Any carrier damage report
JalTool may require the buyer to cooperate with a carrier or insurer investigation and may request that the product and packaging be preserved for inspection.
Failure to preserve evidence or unreasonable delay in reporting may limit JalTool’s ability to obtain compensation from the carrier and may affect the available remedy, subject to mandatory legal rights.
Split, Partial and Consolidated Shipments
JalTool may divide an order into more than one parcel or shipment where reasonably necessary for:
- Stock availability
- Package size or weight limits
- Different preparation requirements
- Carrier restrictions
- Customs or safety requirements
Different parcels may arrive on different dates and may use different tracking numbers.
JalTool may also consolidate multiple items into one shipment where suitable.
A partially delivered order is not automatically considered lost or incomplete while another confirmed parcel remains in transit.
Freight Forwarders and Third-Party Receiving Addresses
A buyer may request delivery to a freight forwarder, warehouse, hotel, agent, workshop, employer or other third-party location.
The buyer is responsible for confirming that the third party is willing and able to receive the package.
Subject to mandatory law, JalTool’s delivery obligation is completed when the carrier delivers the parcel to the approved third-party address.
JalTool is not responsible for loss, damage, additional customs costs, repacking, forwarding errors or delay occurring after the parcel has been accepted by the buyer’s chosen freight forwarder or third-party recipient.
Events Outside JalTool’s Reasonable Control
JalTool is not responsible for shipping delays or failures caused by events reasonably outside its control, including:
- Severe weather or natural disasters
- War, civil unrest or government action
- Public-health emergencies
- Carrier, port, airport or transport disruption
- Customs holds or regulatory action
- Strikes or labor interruption
- Security incidents or cyberattacks
- Power or telecommunications failures
- Import restrictions or sanctions
JalTool may use an alternative carrier or route, extend the estimated delivery period or take another reasonable action.
If an unshipped order becomes impossible to fulfill, JalTool may cancel and refund the affected unshipped portion.
Parcels Returned to Sender
A parcel may be returned to JalTool because of:
- An incorrect or incomplete address
- Failed delivery attempts
- Failure to collect the parcel
- Recipient refusal
- Failure to pay import charges
- Failure to complete customs clearance
- Import restrictions
A returned-to-sender parcel is not treated as an approved return until JalTool receives and inspects it.
Where the return resulted from the buyer’s action or omission, JalTool may, to the extent permitted by law, deduct or require payment of:
- Original outbound shipping costs included in the price
- Return-to-sender transportation costs
- Customs, brokerage and storage charges
- Payment-provider charges that are not returned
- Product damage or missing accessories
- A new shipping charge if reshipment is requested
Reshipment will occur only after the address, customs requirements and additional costs are resolved.
Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund and Returns Policy and any mandatory law that applies.

Shipping Policy FAQ
Where are JalTool orders shipped from?
Current JalTool orders are prepared and dispatched from Vietnam unless another fulfillment location is confirmed in writing for the order.
Is shipping included in the JalTool price?
Yes. Unless stated otherwise, the confirmed product price includes the agreed standard shipping cost to the address approved before payment.
Are customs duties, import taxes and VAT included?
No. These charges are normally paid by the buyer or recipient unless the official JalTool team expressly agrees in writing that specified import charges are included.
What happens if I refuse to pay customs charges?
Refusing customs charges does not automatically cancel the order. Costs for storage, return shipping, customs and redelivery may be charged to the buyer or deducted from an eligible refund.
Are delivery dates guaranteed?
Delivery dates are estimates unless JalTool expressly guarantees a specific date in writing. Customs, carriers, weather and local delivery conditions can cause delays.
What happens if tracking shows delivered but I cannot find it?
Check with household members, reception, building management, neighbors, the pickup location and the carrier. JalTool may require a carrier investigation before considering a remedy.
Will JalTool compensate me immediately for a delayed parcel?
No. A delayed parcel is not automatically considered lost. Carrier tracking and investigation must normally be completed before a replacement or refund decision is made.
Can I change my delivery address after payment?
Contact JalTool immediately. The change is not effective unless confirmed in writing and may be unavailable after package preparation or dispatch. Additional costs are payable by the buyer.

Confirm Your Address and Import Responsibilities
Before payment, verify the delivery destination, package, shipping-inclusive price and any customs, tax, VAT or clearance obligations that may apply.
This policy does not exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Import rules, taxes and carrier requirements vary by destination. The order-specific quotation and written confirmation will govern any agreed exception to the buyer-paid import-charge rule.
