Scope of This Policy

This Refund and Returns Policy applies to eligible physical products purchased directly from JalTool through jaltool.com or through an order confirmed by the official JalTool email address.

This policy should be read together with the applicable quotation, invoice, product description, shipping terms, warranty terms and order confirmation.

Marketplace, distributor or third-party purchases may be subject to the return policy of the original seller.

14-Day Return Request Window

You may request a return within 14 calendar days after the date the order is delivered to the delivery address shown in the order.

To meet this deadline, the return request must be sent to JalTool@outlook.com before the 14-day period expires.

The request should include the order reference, buyer name, delivery date, product being returned and reason for return.

Simply refusing delivery, returning a package to the sender or shipping a product without contacting JalTool does not constitute an approved return.

Prior Return Authorization

All returns require prior written authorization from JalTool. After reviewing the request, JalTool will provide the applicable return address and return instructions.

The buyer must not return the product to an address shown on an old parcel, invoice, shipping label or website page unless that address is confirmed in the return authorization.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the authorized package should be shipped within the period stated in the return instructions.

Unauthorized, cash-on-delivery, freight-collect or improperly addressed returns may be refused and returned to the sender at the buyer’s expense.

Required Product Condition

Returned products must be in substantially the same condition in which they were received and must not show use beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the product.

An eligible return should include:

  • The original JalTool main unit
  • All cables, adapters, connectors and accessories
  • The supplied laptop, charger and accessories, when applicable
  • Cases, packaging, manuals and supplied documentation
  • Labels, security seals and serial-number markings
  • Any promotional, replacement or complimentary items included with the order

Products must not have:

  • Impact damage, cracks, burns or liquid damage
  • Modified, removed or unreadable serial numbers
  • Unauthorized disassembly, repair or alteration
  • Damage caused by incorrect voltage, wiring or connection
  • Missing parts, cables, adapters or supplied accessories
  • Passwords, account locks or buyer data remaining on a returned laptop
The buyer should photograph the product and package before shipping the return. JalTool may request these photographs if the returned parcel arrives damaged or incomplete.

Return Shipping, Customs and Other Costs

For an approved return resulting from a change of mind, duplicate purchase, incorrect buyer selection or other reason not caused by JalTool, the buyer is responsible for:

  • Return shipping and insurance costs
  • Export, import and customs processing charges
  • Return-related customs duties and taxes
  • Brokerage, storage, handling and clearance charges
  • Payment-provider or currency-conversion charges that are not returned to JalTool

The buyer is also responsible for applying to the relevant authority for any available refund of import duties or taxes previously paid at the destination.

Original shipping and expedited delivery charges are normally non-refundable for change-of-mind returns, except where applicable mandatory law requires otherwise.

Do not declare the returned parcel as a new commercial sale. Follow the return customs instructions provided by JalTool. Customs charges caused by an incorrect declaration may be deducted from the refund.

Inspection of Returned Products

After the return is delivered to the authorized return address, JalTool will inspect the parcel, product, accessories, serial numbers and returned package contents.

The inspection may include:

  • Checking for physical or customer-caused damage
  • Confirming all components and accessories are present
  • Confirming product and package serial numbers
  • Checking for unauthorized modification or disassembly
  • Testing basic product condition and operation
  • Checking the supplied laptop and charger, when applicable

JalTool may document the inspection with photographs, video, serial-number records and testing results.

Inspection is normally completed promptly after delivery. Additional time may be required where the parcel is damaged, incomplete, held by customs or requires technical testing.

Refund Amount and Refund Timing

When the returned product passes inspection, JalTool will initiate the approved refund within three business days after the inspection is completed.

The refund will normally be sent to the original payment method, unless another method is agreed in writing.

The time required for the refund to appear in the buyer’s account may depend on the bank, card issuer, payment processor and international payment network.

Possible refund deductions

Where permitted by applicable law, JalTool may deduct reasonable amounts for:

  • Missing products, cables, adapters, chargers or accessories
  • Customer-caused damage or unauthorized modification
  • Loss in value caused by use beyond reasonable inspection
  • Cleaning, testing, data removal or restoration work
  • Customs, storage, brokerage or handling charges billed to JalTool
  • Non-refundable payment or currency-conversion fees

If the return is materially incomplete, damaged by the buyer, substituted, counterfeit, serial-number mismatched or otherwise fails inspection, JalTool may reduce or reject the refund to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Incorrect, Damaged or Defective Products

If the buyer believes that an incorrect product was supplied, the parcel was damaged during shipping or the product has a material fault, the buyer should contact JalTool promptly and provide:

  • The order reference and delivery date
  • Clear photographs of the outer shipping package
  • Clear photographs of the product and serial number
  • A description of the problem
  • Screenshots, videos or error messages where relevant

The buyer must keep the original packaging while the claim is being reviewed.

Where JalTool confirms that the wrong product was supplied or that the product arrived with a fault attributable to JalTool, JalTool may provide troubleshooting, replacement, repair, return shipping assistance or a refund as appropriate.

Buyer-paid return-cost rules for change-of-mind returns do not automatically apply where JalTool confirms that it supplied an incorrect or defective product.

Non-Returnable or Restricted Items

The following may be non-returnable or subject to restricted refund terms where permitted by applicable law:

  • Digital files, downloadable content or electronic delivery items
  • Software or services already activated with the buyer’s prior agreement
  • Customized, personalized or specially configured orders
  • Special-order cables, adapters or equipment obtained specifically for the buyer
  • Products damaged through misuse, incorrect connection or unauthorized repair
  • Products with removed or altered serial-number labels
  • Products not purchased directly from JalTool
  • Complimentary items that were not separately purchased

A laptop that has been specially sourced, configured or prepared for a specific customer may be treated as a customized component where permitted by applicable law and where this was disclosed before purchase.

Returns Requested After 14 Days

Return requests submitted after the 14-day return period are not automatically accepted.

Any return after 14 days must be separately discussed with JalTool and will be subject to JalTool’s prior written agreement.

JalTool may consider the reason for the request, product condition, time since delivery, package contents, software or service status, shipping costs and the ability to resell or reuse the product.

Where a late return is accepted, the agreed solution may be a repair, replacement, exchange, partial refund, store credit or another arrangement rather than a full refund.

Sending a product after the 14-day period without written authorization does not create a right to a refund.

Order Cancellation Before Shipment

Contact JalTool as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change an order before shipment.

A cancellation is not confirmed until JalTool provides written confirmation. Orders that have already been prepared, customized, activated, transferred to the carrier or dispatched may no longer be cancellable.

If a cancellation is approved, non-refundable payment charges, customization costs, supplier cancellation costs or other expenses already incurred may be deducted where permitted by law and disclosed to the buyer.

Mandatory Consumer Rights

This policy is intended to describe JalTool’s contractual return process. It does not exclude, restrict or replace consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded in the buyer’s applicable jurisdiction.

Where a mandatory law provides a longer return period, requires particular delivery costs to be refunded or provides separate remedies for defective goods, that mandatory requirement will apply to the extent required.

Business and professional purchases may be treated differently from consumer purchases where permitted by applicable law.
